Where were bra inserts before came out in the early 2000's? All of the sudden in the 2000's inserts starting popping up in all of my workout bras, tops and swimsuits. The first bra pads starting appearing in sports bras circa 2000 and then migrated into swimwear. They were either sewn in or removable. Up until this past Spring, the removable inserts were awful! We ladies can all agree that they suck because they move around! They flip, shift and scrunch up into a ball. Put your swimsuit or sports bra into the washing machine and it was guaranteed to be at the bottom of the washer every single time. Take a yoga class or go for a run and most likely your pad would shift around mid-activity. Lounging at the pool or beach or playing volleyball and worrying about if your bra insert moved around? Seriously who wants to worry about this? We have enough to worry about. All that time spent smoothing out fixing your insert pad only to have it move around again and have to fix it again.
